What is Breast Ironing?
Breast ironing is the act of applying heat or pressure to the breasts of a 9-13 year old girl, over weeks, months, or years, in efforts to reduce the size or prevent the growth of breasts (Tapscott,2012).

This video from Zoomin.TV World News includes interviews with women who were subjected to breast ironing when they were young girls. A women explains why she chose to use a band herself to flatten her own breasts (Zoomin, 2016).
